How does the Coronavirus announcement affect Meatmaster?
Following the announcement from the Prime Minister a few nights ago, we would like to confirm that both Meatmaster and Fishmarket are remaining open. As many people in Oxfordshire rely on us for their fresh meat, fish and produce, we are to continue helping as much as we can through our store, click and collect and home delivery services.
Online
Our online shop is now live! You can place your order here.
The full delivery postcodes are OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4, OX5, OX25, OX26 and OX27 and you can click and collect from anywhere! When ordering, you can also choose a minimal contact option, where we bring it to the safety of your own car once you arrive in our car park. Just give us a call to let us know you’ve arrived.
We have increased our range to include meat boxes, fruit and veg boxes, ready meals and wine– so we can now be your one stop shop for all your food needs! We are increasing our range all the time, including some fish from Aldens Fishmarket very soon, so please do keep checking our online shop!
Instore
We are open from 7am-5pm, however between 8am and 9am the shop will be exclusively open for the vulnerable and over 70s. Throughout the day, we are limiting the number of people in the store at any one time to help comply with social distancing policies.
There are added hygiene controls, and we ask every customer to sanitise their hands upon entering the store and please pay by contactless where possible.
As well as already holding some the highest food safety certificates possible, we have also added some new, stricter and more regular hygiene controls within our facilities and our delivery drivers.
We understand that some of these may cause a little inconvenience, however your safety and health is our number one priority. We are committed to helping and serving the people of Oxfordshire and doing our bit to slow the spread.
